Many tech rejections are about how the evidence was presented, not the underlying career. Your proforma tells you which criteria the assessors felt were not met, which gives you a clear starting point.

Both are assessed against the same criteria, but at different career stages. Exceptional Talent is for people already recognised as leading talents in digital technology, with recognition that is established and sustained. Exceptional Promise is for earlier-career professionals with emerging recognition that fits their stage. Promise is not a lower bar, it is a different bar.
Every endorsement application has to meet the mandatory criteria: recognition in the last five years as a leading talent, or an emerging one for Promise. On top of that, you need to meet at least two of the four optional criteria: innovation (OC1), contribution beyond your job (OC2), technical, commercial or entrepreneurial impact (OC3), and academic contributions (OC4).
You need three letters from acknowledged experts in digital technology who have known your work for at least twelve months. In practice, this means senior figures at product-led or leading digital technology companies. Each letter should include the referee's CV. Common letter mistakes →
Usually not on its own. Tech Nation assesses you as an individual, so company revenue, funding or growth needs to be connected to your personal contribution and to recognition in the field. Read the founders guide →
The Tech VIP covers your full endorsement portfolio: portfolio strategy across the mandatory and optional criteria, your CV, a personal statement, three letters of support drafted for your referees to review and sign, and up to ten evidence documents. It starts with a 15-minute discovery call. Full package details →
